Burnet 4-H Horse Club is a charter of Texas 4-H and a part of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Services. We are a youth-centered club.  

We are devoted to raising good citizens through activities like horse competitions, food science, animal science, consumer science, community service, and so much more!

-Any youth may become a member of 4-H when he or she has reached 9 years of age or is 8 years of age and has entered the third grade.

-Youths are eligible to participate in the 4-H program as long as they have not reached their 19th birthday before August 31st of the current 4-H Year. If a youth turns 19 after August 31st of the current year, they may participate until that 4-H year ends.

The 4-H Year is from September 1 to August 31

For youths younger than 8 years old, we offer the 4-H Clover Kids Program designed to foster youth development in non-competitive activities. 

We cordially invite you to join our Club whether you're looking for a weekend activity or seeking an outlet for involvement in the outdoors. The lasting impact and value gained in our Club resides in the bonds of new friendships and the life skills gained from different Projects offered by our Club. 

Our adult leaders are composed of parent volunteers who contribute their time, their talents and their resources in support of 4-H Youths. 4-H helps to foster total-family involvement with the goal of strengthening families and raising responsible citizens. Our youths pledge their Head, Health, Heart, and Hands to betterment of themselves and their community.
